Lauren Mastroianni is a life long horse lover and learner. With almost twenty years of riding experience, she has extensive knowledge of riding, training and care of horses. Having been immersed in the equine world, Lauren is familiar with performance horses; their training schedules, stressful show careers and, unfortunately, many of the injuries that they endure. 

 

For years, Lauren has found the practice of Equine Sports Massage Therapy intriguing. After researching the many benefits massage has to offer, she decided to enroll in a certification program and successfully passed the course to become certified in the practice of Equine Sports Massage Therapy. Knowing that how horses move and react is ever-changing, Lauren is always looking into how massage can be customized to best suit each of her four-legged "patients".

 

Her most recent adventure is the re-training process of her 5-year old OTTB, King.  Having an appreciation for the critical step of trust-building, Lauren takes that into consideration when working with each horse. Using a gentle, calming approach, she instills trust with the horses she works with, and shares with owners tips they can use to help strengthen that bond. 

 

When she's not in the barn, Lauren can be found either with her family talking about her equine adventures, in front of a laptop or with her nose in a book, finding out how else she can help horses by using massage. Knowing that there's always more to learn, Lauren prides herself on her desire to become aware to as much as she can, as frequently as possible. 

 

Driven by the pure desire to help, Lauren walks away from every appointment loving what she does more and more. From meeting amazing people, to working with all types of horses, she's fascinated with just how many people share the common thread of love for horses.
